So when I first started researching "healthier" food options people would often talk about hummus and veggies and I always gagged at the thought! I can't honestly say when or why I changed my tune on this one but I can say I'm glad I did. I like to eat my hummus with any veggie that crunches so thus the carrots, celery and bell pepper ... all crunchy. But really, what I LOVE to eat with hummus is bread! Any bread will do (I heart crabs) but here I have naan dippers. You can find them in most grocery stores in the bakery section or by the deli meats. I always save my bread for last as a special treat!
I will say, one thing I love about these is how easy they are for an on-the-go option. Prep your veggies in the morning and throw them in the fridge in a zip lock back. And when you're headed out the door grab your veggies, naan dippers, and hummus and you're set!
- 1 (2oz, single serve size) Sabra hummus.
- 130 grams bell pepper
- 90 grams carrots
- 50 grams celery
- 3 Stonefire Naan Dippers
Just prep your veggies and bam, your snack is served.
