Pasta with Chicken and Veggies

Hands down, pasta is probably the most kid-friendly food out there so go ahead and whip up a batch of this pasta dish. It's fast and it's tasty but the best part is ... it's a well balanced meal AND macro friendly! I'm pretty sure this dish can make everyone happy. 😉

- 3 cups Farfalle Bow Tie Pasta

- 1 Lb. Chicken, cut into bite sized pieces.

- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

- 1 tsp. Montreal Chicken Seasoning

- 2 cloves garlic placed through a garlic press

- 1/4 tsp. Paprika

- 1/4 tsp. Chili Powder

- 1 tsp. dry Basil Leaves

- 1 Cup Frozen Peas

- 1 Small Red Bell Pepper, chopped into small pieces

- 2 Ounces Plain, Non-fat Yogurt

1. Places bite sized chicken pieces in a ziplock bag along with Montreal chicken seasoning, garlic, paprika, chili powder & basil leaves. Shake well until chicken is well coated. Set aside for later use.

2. In a large pot cook pasta according to directions. For the last 5 minutes of boiling add frozen peas.

3. In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot add chicken and cook through, stirring occasionally. Turn heat down to low.

4. Drain pasta and peas and place in a serving bowl. Pour yogurt over pasta and peas and turn until well coated. Add chicken and bell pepper to pasta and stir until well combined.
