To date, this is my favorite smoothie ever! And that is saying something because I love a god smoothie. But seriously, this has been on repeat for weeks.
If I had to use one word to describe this smoothie it would be fresh! It feels as good as it tastes! They key here is the ginger, it does wonders for this smoothie but do not use too much! I repeat, do not use too much, this will take your smoothie to a whole new level and what was once fresh will now be waaaaaayyyyyy overpowering! So just a small amount of freshly grated ginger will do the trick, about the size of your big fingernail or 1 tsp.
Strawberry - Ginger Smoothie
- 1/2 cup milk (I use the fair life milk but feel free to use which ever kind works best for you: regular, almond, coconut etc ...)
- 1 cup strawberries (140g)
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 tsp. freshly grated ginger
Add it all to a blender and enjoy!
