Monday: Slow Cooker Creamy Tortellini, Spinach and Chicken Soup( I use chicken breast on this recipe, not chicken thighs. It turns out just fine and that way I am only buying one type of chicken instead of two).

Tuesday: Chicken & Dumplings ( I use the homemade dumpling recipe)

Wednesday: Turkey Nachos

Saturday: Out to Eat



Italian Baked Oven Pasta


Grocery List


Produce:

4 white onions

1 garlic bulb

1 bag of carrots

1 bag of celery

4 russet baking potatoes

1 red bell pepper

1 large avocado

1 lime

1 bag - about 3 cups - of spinach


Fresh Herbs & Cheeses

basil

cilantro

rosemary

parsley

parmesan cheese (you can get the bottled kind of you can't find this fresh. I find it by the deli section)


Meats:

2 x 1 lb. ground turkey breast

1, 2.5-3 lb pork roast sirloin

3-4 lbs chicken breast


Spices:

bay leafs

dreid basil

salt/pepper

1 container Montreal chicken seasoning

paprika

chili powder

whole nutmegs

1 packet taco seasoning


From the Grocery Section:

1 small container of honey

creole

2 (14.5 oz) cans petite diced tomatoes

1 (14.5 oz) can crushed tomatoes

1 small can tomato paste

1 can black olives

1 small bottle salsa

2 cartons Swansons chicken broth

1 box barilla penne pasta

1 box barilla bow tie pasta

1 1/2 cups apple cider (look for the brown murky kind, a good brand to look for Simply Apple)

1 small container apple cider vinegar (again, get the murky kind)

1 (14 oz) can evaporated milk

olive oil

corn starch

flour

baking powder

1 bag mission, round, bite size, tortilla chips


Dairy:

1 cup half and half

1 gallon of milk

1 carton of butter (not margarine)

1 (4 cup) bag shredded cheddar cheese

1 small container plain, non-fat yogurt


From the freezer section:

4 cups cheese tortellini

1 bag frozen peas
