Weekly Meal Plans

Updated: Mar 4, 2019

On Sundays, I try and make sure I sit down for a half hour or so and plan our dinners for the week. I take into consideration the weather and any activities we may have going on each day/evening.

Busy evenings may require a crock pot meal that is prepped earlier in the day. A busy day often requires a 30 minute prep meal or less. Each morning when I wake up I check our dinner plans for the day and pull out any meat that may need to thaw between the morning and when I'm ready to make dinner.

Below are some of my weekly dinner menu's with their accompanying grocery list. Click on the name of each dinner and it will bring you to the accompanying recipe.

You'll notice that the grocery list is a comprehensive list of EVERYTHING you need for all the recipes. However, you are likely to have a lot of these ingredients already on hand, so make sure to cross off any you don't need. You can also print off the grocery list and add to it for anything else you may need for your family for the week.

For now, since I'm just getting started, I have only winter meal plans. I am so excited to add to this and provide great meal plans for each season.

As a believer in family meal times I hope you'll find these useful! Grab your apron and lets make dinner a time for family connection!

The boys, shopping for all the things we need to make our homemade pasta sauce. It's a semi-annual tradition that we do in conjunction with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints general conference.
